Zaman serisi verileri hibrit dalgacık-sinir ağı modelleri
The thesis aims to combine wavelet theory with nonlinear models, particularly neural
networks, to find an appropriate time series model structure. Data like financial time
series are nonstationary, noisy, and chaotic. Therefore using wavelet analysis helps
better modeling in the sense of both frequency and time.
S&P500 (∧GSPC) and NASDAQ (∧
IXIC) data are divided into several components
by using multiresolution analysis (MRA). Subsequently, each part is modeled by using a suitable neural network structure. In this step, the design of the model is formed
according to the pattern of the subseries. Then predictions of each subseries are combined. The combined prediction result is compared to the original time series’s prediction result using only a nonlinear model. Moreover, wavelets are used as an activation
function for LSTM networks to form a hybrid LSTM-Wavenet model. Furthermore,
the hybrid LSTM-Wavenet model is fused with MRA as a proposed method.
In brief, it is studied whether using MRA and hybrid LSTM-Wavenet model decreases the loss or not for both S&P500 and NASDAQ data. Four different modeling methods are used: LSTM, LSTM+MRA, hybrid LSTM-Wavenet, hybrid LSTMWavenet+MRA (the proposed method). Results show that using MRA and wavelets
as an activation function together decreases error values the most.

Time series analysis is an essential research area for almost all people who are dealing with scientific and engineering problems. Main aim is to understand the underlying characteristics of the time series by using time as well as frequency domain analyses. Then one can make a prediction for the desired system to forecast observations ahead. Time series modeling, frequency domain analysis and some descriptive statistical analysis are main subjects of this thesis. Choosing an appropriate model is the main focus of all analysis in order to make a good prediction. In this thesis financial time series are focused, particularly S&P500 daily closing prices and it’s return values are handled. Fourier transform and wavelet transform are creatively at the center of the frequency domain analysis. Knowing the fact that financial time series are complex data sets to sufficiently predict the future, multiresolution analysis is handled in this thesis using the wavelet transforms to figure out specialties of S&P500 data. Also, apparently, models that are appropriate for the financial time series are discussed in the application part.M.S. - Master of Scienc
Comparative Analyses of Unsupervised PCA K-Means Change Detection Algorithm from the Viewpoint of Follow-Up Plan
In this study, principal component analysis and k-means clustering (PCAKM) methods for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data are analyzed to reduce the sensitivity caused by changes in the parameters and input images of the algorithm, increase the accuracy, and make an improvement in the computation time, which are advantageous for scoring in the follow-up plan. Although there are many supervised methods described in the literature, unsupervised methods may be more appropriate in terms of computing time, data scarcity, and explainability in order to supply a trustworthy system. We consider the PCAKM algorithm, which is used as a benchmark method in many studies when making comparisons. Error metrics, computing times, and utility functions are calculated for 22 modified PCAKM regarding difference images and filtering methods. Various images with different characteristics affect the results of the configurations. However, it is evident that the PCAKM becomes less sensitive and more accurate for both the overall results and image results. Scoring by utilizing these results and other map information is a gap and innovation. Obtaining a change map in a fast, explainable, more robust and less sensitive way is one of the aims of our studies on scoring points in the follow-up plan
The effect of COVID-19 on development of hair and nail disorders: a Turkish multicenter, controlled study
© 2022 the International Society of Dermatology. Background: A broad spectrum of skin diseases, including hair and nails, can be directly or indirectly triggered by COVID-19. It is aimed to examine the type and frequency of hair and nail disorders after COVID-19 infection. Methods: This is a multicenter study conducted on consecutive 2171 post-COVID-19 patients. Patients who developed hair and nail disorders and did not develop hair and nail disorders were recruited as subject and control groups. The type and frequency of hair and nail disorders were examined. Results: The rate of the previous admission in hospital due to COVID-19 was statistically significantly more common in patients who developed hair loss after getting infected with COVID-19 (P < 0.001). Telogen effluvium (85%) was the most common hair loss type followed by worsening of androgenetic alopecia (7%) after COVID-19 infection. The mean stress scores during and after getting infected with COVID-19 were 6.88 ± 2.77 and 3.64 ± 3.04, respectively, in the hair loss group and were 5.77 ± 3.18 and 2.81 ± 2.84, respectively, in the control group (P < 0.001, P < 0.001). The frequency of recurrent COVID-19 was statistically significantly higher in men with severe androgenetic alopecia (Grades 4–7 HNS) (P = 0.012; Odds ratio: 2.931 [1.222–7.027]). The most common nail disorders were leukonychia, onycholysis, Beau's lines, onychomadesis, and onychoschisis, respectively. The symptoms of COVID-19 were statistically significantly more common in patients having nail disorders after getting infected with COVID-19 when compared to the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The development of both nail and hair disorders after COVID-19 seems to be related to a history of severe COVID-19
Hacettepe Dahiliye Ders Kitabı 2
Ondokuzuncu yüzyılın tıp literatürü, korku filmi gibidir. Hekimlerin, ellerine geçirdikleri her şeyi,
akıllarına gelen her yöntemi tedavi için kullandıkları görülür. Bilgiye değil, kulaktan dolma duyumlara
dayanan, “içten doğma” uydurma fikirlerle hastaların yelken kürek tedavi edilmeye çalışıldığı bir
dönemdir. Litrelerce kan alınır, barsaklar yüksek basınçlı lavmanlarla delik deşik edilir, hastalar buzlu
sulara yatırılıp uzuvlar gangren olana dek dondurulur, dondurmak işe yaramazsa kaynar kazanlara
sokulur, deriyi kabartan bitkisel merhemlerle epidermis eritilir, terkibi ikinci kez asla tutturulamayan
Kuruluşundan itibaren çağdaşı modern tıp dünyasının bir takipçisi ve aktörü olan Hacettepe Tıp Fakültesi;
hünerli hekimler, iyi klinisyenler yetiştirmeyi amaçlamıştır. Prof. Dr. Şeref Zileli’nin kurucusu olduğu İç
Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalımız, mezuniyet öncesi tıp eğitiminde yatay ve dikey entegrasyon modeliyle
klinik eğitim aşamasında, öğrencilerimize “dahiliye nosyonu” kazandırmayı hedeflemiştir. Dahiliye
